This was one of the last pieces in this body of work that continued from 1998-2005 consisting of about 23 works total. About half of which were made in a tiny two bedroom apartment in Queens New York.
The work was influenced by architectural ornament but unlike monuments to specific individuals, identity is obscured by ornament.
